X-Ray Testing
Modern technology is available on-site, together with two radiographic bunkers. Wall thicknesses up to 350mm (steel) can be radiographed at Kaiserau. Sample castings are fully radiographed before bulk production commences. Batch castings are examined as specified, i.e. weld ends, percentage of quantity, critical areas etc. All fabricated component welds (seam welds) are routinely radiographed.
