For many years already the Schmidt+Clemens central Test Laboratory has been a well-established neutral institution which is also open to external companies for material development and testing.
In addition the Test Laboratory has become renowned for materials testing and classification as well as for the assessment of damages of metal materials.
All test procedures can be conducted in the presence of the notified inspection, acceptance and classification bodies such as TÜV, LRS and GL as well as for in-house acceptance and quality departments or for the self-surveillance of major domestic and international industrial enterprises.
The Test Laboratory has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and is in the process of preparing pertinent documentation for accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025:2000.
