Relining Service
- Machine replacement liner out of MÄRKER® steel well in time before the container is received for relining. Pre-ordered liners may be stored at S+C Extrusion Tooling Solutions GmbH for the next relining service in order to cut lead times.
- All containers are thoroughly checked on arrival at the plant for any cracks or other damage. If necessary and possible damage will be repaired. All parts of a container are tested to make certain that the hardness/toughness is within limits required.
- Removal of the worn liner and, if necessary the intermediate liner.
- Checking and machining of the bore of the intermediate liner / mantle.
- Finish machine the new liner to the required shrink dimensions.
- Insertion of the liner (shrink process)
- Documentation of the shrink process with all data.
- Honing of the liner bore.
- If agreed, checking and - when required - repair of the container heating system.
- Customer may re-order a new liner for storage at MÄRKER for the next reline.

- Testing of the container
- Special equipement for shrink-fitting and removal of liners
- Documentation of liner service
