16th March 2008 Lindlar / New Orleans. From16th until 20th March 2008 the international Conference and Exhibition Corrosion 2008 takes place in New Orleans / Louisiana, USA. Also this year, the German high performance steel specialist Schmidt + Clemens (S+C), will presents its technical know-how to an international public.

In the focus of the Corrosion 2008 the topics are wet and high-temperature corrosion.The Schmidt + Clemens Group will offer its manufacturing and material knowledge, combined with excellent mechanical engineering opportunities, to be able to produce
customer-oriented high-grade steel solutions.

Besides representatives from the S+C´s Sales- and Marketing Department also the representative of the R&D department is represented in new Orleans. „The Corrosion 2008 is for us an important exhibition.  Trends for the future will be discussed here“, so Lars Niemczewski, Head of Marketing of Schmidt + Clemens. „Apart from the specialized lectures the direct contact  is important to the customers. So requirements can be concretized to our current and future materials." Schmidt + Clemens is an international family owned company with the production emphasis of centrifugal- and static castings as well as forged materials.
 

Beside the German headquarter S+C still produces in Brazil, Great Britain, Malaysia, Spain and Czech Republic.
