More than 400 guests in Trsice
S+C ALFANAMETAL celebrated 10th anniversary
Trsice, 24.09.2007. Last Saturday, in Trsice (Czech Republic) the high performance steel foundry S+C ALFANAMETAL celebrated its 10th anniversary with more than 400 guests. In 1997 the high performance steel foundry was established and belongs to the German Schmidt + Clemens Group. Today, there are approx. 80 employees.
"I am very much pleased to celebrate with you today", Jan Schmidt-Krayer, Managing Partner of the German headquarter Schmidt+Clemens, welcomed the guests. Addressed to the employees he added ½you can be very proud of that, which you developed here in the last years". Beside representatives from official authorities and administration Libor Zemanek, Managing Director of S+C ALFANAMETAL could also welcome colleagues from the German headquarter Schmidt+Clemens. Among them also Christoph Schmidt-Krayer, Partner, who supported the establishment of the foundry in the Czech Republic. For the surprise of all guests, Christoph Schmidt-Krayer held his speech in Czech.
Much play and fun were offered to the guests. Especially interesting was the Human-Kicker, an oversized table soccer game and the hot-air balloon, which offered a nice view of Trsice. Also good food and drinks were available. The German headquarter was presented at the "German Pavilion". There, the guests were be informed about the Schmidt + Clemens Group and they could taste “Koelsch-beer” as well as typical specialities of their area.
Today, S+C ALFANAMETAL is one of the leading high performance steel foundries in Czech Republic and offers cast and shell moulded products world wide.The Schmidt + Clemens Group employees around 1000 people and produces besides in the Czech location also in Brazil, Germany, Great Britain, Malaysia and Spain.
