Schmidt + Clemens: Commitment to family-friendly personnel policy

Schmidt + Clemens took part in the business competition entitled “Erfolgsfaktor Familie”, meaning “The Family - A Factor for Success”. German Families Minister Dr. Kristina Schröder has now issued the Lindlar-based family enterprise with a certificate confirming its commitment to the pursuit of a family-friendly personnel policy.

More than 530 businesses from the whole of Germany took part in the competition. “While we were not among the finalists, we have nevertheless received confirmation of our commitment,” says managing partner Jan Schmidt-Krayer. “This is an incentive to us to do even more in this field. With our works kindergarten and health programme, we are already well on the right track.”

In a letter to the firm, Ingo Behnel, head of the Families Department in the German Ministry of Families, Senior Citizens, Woman and Juveniles, emphasizes the clear signal set by S+C for the growing family awareness within the German business sector.
