Schmidt + Clemens Subsidiary Launched

Lindlar, 11th September 2009. The strategic development of the internationally operating Schmidt + Clemens Group (S+C) continues. On 1st September 2009 the latest S+C subsidiary established its business activities. S+C Extrusion Tooling Solutions GmbH (ETS) focuses on the requirements of customers in the extrusion industry. 

With this step, Schmidt + Clemens continues to concentrate on its core business areas. The former steel supplier is consistently implementing its concept for being the competent partner for extrusion tools, systems and solutions. This focus forms the basis for a flexible and individual satisfaction of customer needs. 

„We are a young yet experienced company“, states Olaf Mueller, who manages the business of ETS together with Dr. Henning Kreisel. „For many years, our employees have worked in this industry and have available not only the necessary steel know-how but also the comprehensive experience with the customers’ processes. So we can offer an optimum of customer advisory service and technical solutions“. 

The ETS belongs to the Schmidt + Clemens Group and is headquartered in Kaiserau - Lindlar. „We deliberately chose the English company name“, so Dr. Henning Kreisel, „the ETS is operating internationally and we therefore favoured a widely-used language”. 

In addition to the German headquarters S+C also has production plants in Brazil, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Spain, and the Czech Republic. S+C Sales Offices can be found in the USA, India, and the United Arab Emirates. The Schmidt + Clemens Group employs approx. 1,000 people worldwide (Germany approx. 600).
