International Trade Fairs "Tube & Wire" in Düsseldorf, Germany

The Germany based Schmidt + Clemens Group (S+C) presents it’s 2010 highlights in high-grade steel at the global leading trade fair for the tube, wire, and cable industry from 12th April until 16th April 2010. Market segments are complex tooling systems for extrusion presses as well as high precision forming rolls and associated equipment for the manufacture of tubes, sections, and copper rod.Presence at the “Tube + Wire” trade fairs in Düsseldorf is very important for the S+C Group. During these days Düsseldorf is the international meeting point for the rolling and extrusion industries. „Our new subsidiary S+C Extrusion Tooling Solutions will be present first time in Düsseldorf“, says Olaf Müller, Managing Director of S+C Extrusion Tooling Solutions GmbH, “we offer a wide range of products and services for the extrusion press industry, like container, stems and inner liners for examples.”Besides highly wear-resistant rolls and various die sets, a lot of tooling made of forged Märker® high-grade steel will also be presented at the exhibition booth of the two S+C subsidiaries S+C Bowers & Jones (Wolverhampton, UK) and S+C Extrusion Tooling Solutions (Lindlar, Germany). Eye-Catcher at the stand is an ingot container weighing tons for the extrusion press industry which is equipped with a technically demanding induction heating and shall inspire the visitors to expert talks. In addition, a large roll arrangement for a welded tube will be exhibited giving the viewer - by means of a material flow arrangement - the impression of levitating.The field of tube manufacture and metal working forms another main focus of this year’s S+C presence at the trade fairs. „Because of moving into our new and modern factory in Wolverhampton, our range of products and services for the rolling industry has been increased.
