Back among the best trainers in 2021

Lindlar, 25.10.2021. Once again Capital, the magazine for business and society, has honored Germany's best trainers in its 11/2021 issue. The Lindlar-based family business, Schmidt + Clemens (S+C), again achieved four out of five possible stars this year.

The survey for the study, in which 652 companies participated, took place between March and May of this year. Together, these companies employ more than four million people and have 118,000 trainees. The HR experts from the talent platform Ausbildung.de and Capital called for participation. The survey was conducted in five different categories, with a particular focus on the qualifications of the trainers. In the category "Learning in the company", teaching methods, performance reviews and training plans were assessed.

In addition to training, the opportunity for dual study programme was also assessed. The Lindlar-based stainless steel specialist S+C received the coveted star classification for both its training and its dual study programme.

"Training and further education are particularly important to us as a world market leader with tube systems for the petrochemical industry”, says Managing Partner, Jan Schmidt-Krayer. "In order to defend our leading position in the future, training has a very high priority for us. My thanks go to all the trainers in our company for the work they have done."

S+C combines the topics of training and continuing education in its own academy. In this context, digital teaching methods are becoming increasingly important. In the current year, more than 90 T€ have already been invested in the S+C Academy in order to further expand the range of training courses in the fields of electrical engineering and automation. The next investment is already planned: A dedicated training robot will be purchased for the Academy.

S+C is the world market leader with Tube systems for the petrochemical industry and has already won several awards for training. Focus Money named the company the best training company in the stainless steel production and processing sector in 2021.
