Lindlar, 04.11.2021. Increasing one's attractiveness as an employer is more important than ever for German companies today. 3,953 companies were examined by the Cologne-based rating and ranking agency ServiceValue in cooperation with the daily newspaper "Die Welt" as part of the study "Germany's Best Employers 2021". The survey focused on the image of the companies as seen by the population.
"As an employer with `high attractiveness' ServiceValue awarded us in its last study, we are of course very proud of this," says the Managing Partner of Schmidt + Clemens (S+C), Jan Schmidt-Krayer.
S+C recognized very early on that attractiveness as an employer plays a special role in filling specialist and management positions. More than ten years ago, S+C was the first company in the Oberberg region to set up its own kindergarten, or to attach great importance to company health management, with its own fitness studio for employees. The establishment of its own academy was another success factor in increasing its attractiveness. "We combine the training and further education of our employees under one roof. This year alone, we have invested over € 90,000 in equipment for the academy and are increasingly focusing on digital learning opportunities," says Jan Schmidt-Krayer.
Topics such as sustainability and social responsibility are also a focus at S+C. For example, the company supports numerous institutions from the social or sports sector and is involved in numerous schools.
In addition to its headquarters in Germany, the stainless steel specialist S+C also produces in Spain, the Czech Republic and Malaysia. With three sales locations of its own and over 30 agencies, S+C ensures its worldwide presence as market leader for tube systems for the petrochemical industry.
