The year 2025 is off to a great start for Schmidt + Clemens (S+C): The stainless steel specialist from Lindlar has been recognized by the employer review platform kununu and the ZEIT publishing group with the "Most Wanted Start 2025" award. This recognition places S+C among Germany’s 500 most sought-after training companies—a strong testament to the quality of its training programs and its appeal as an employer.
In times of a skilled labor shortage, S+C is sending a positive signal with innovative approaches and strong commitment. In June 2023 alone, approximately 256,000 apprenticeship positions remained unfilled across Germany. Criteria for the Award
The "Most Wanted Start" award is granted only to training companies that meet strict criteria. These include a kununu score of at least 3.5 stars, a trainee recommendation rate of over 70%, and high satisfaction among trainees. S+C fulfilled all these requirements, reaffirming its leading position among training companies.
