Effective 31st May, 2015, Thomas Hellige has taken the decision to leave his management position at Schmidt + Clemens (S+C) for reasons of advancing age.
The successor to his position as Chief Sales Officer will take over his duties on 01/06/15. "We owe Thomas Hellige a great debt of gratitude. Thanks to his vision and business expertise, he had a significant impact on the growth of the Schmidt + Clemens Group and the outstanding market development seen in years past," said Managing Partner Jan Schmidt-Krayer.
Thomas Hellige has been part of the group of companies since 1st May, 2001, initially as head of the centrifugal casting department and since 1st June, 2012 as Chief Sales Officer.
The search for a successor to the managing director of the sales department began several months ago. At that time, Mr. Hellige indicated to the managing partner that he wished to enter retirement, which is well deserved, but that he would remain available to the family-run company until a successor could be found. "We respected Mr. Hellige's wishes and have found a solution which ensures the sales success of the company for the long term," remarked Jan Schmidt-Krayer.
