Jan J. Schmidt-Krayer

Managing Partner – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Jan J. Schmidt-Krayer completed his mechanical engineering degree in 1996 at RWTH Aachen, followed by a part-time business administration program in 2002. After gaining experience at Ohio State University and Krauss-Maffei, he joined the family business Schmidt + Clemens GmbH + Co. KG in 2003. There, he led international projects including the establishment of a manufacturing facility in Malaysia, and has been Managing Partner since 2006.

He actively serves on several advisory boards and is involved in various voluntary roles, including as Chairman of the Board of Werksarztzentrum Oberberg e.V. and as Deputy Chairman of Lebensraum Oberberg e.V.
