With decades of experience, S+C is one of the technical pioneers for the manufacture of heavy-duty stainless steels in the field of pump and valve construction. Our production processes range from centrifugal casting, static and investment casting up to forged components.
S+C’s range of materials includes various stainless steels that are wear-, corrosion- or acid-resistant and include even duplex steels as well as high-alloyed materials, such as nickel-based alloys. If desired, our metallurgists will select the most suitable material for your application from our range of different stainless steels and alloys.
Wherever pumps, compressors and valves are used that have to meet the highest demands in terms of mechanical, thermal or corrosive loads: We work alongside you to satisfy these requirements.
Depending on customer’s request, we supply such components either in pre-machined or in finish machined condition, ready for installation.

Safeguarding Movement – Shafts made of Märker® Stainless Steels
Schmidt + Clemens is taking on this challenge, producing both, pre-machined and ready-to-install pump shafts from high-performance special steels in a specialized production facility.
The shaft, as the heart of the pump, plays a key role in meeting these requirements. Resistance to aggressive media with minimal deflection, smooth pump operation, and stability during load changes guarantee a long service life of a pump system and thus ensure movement.
