Lindlar, September 22, 2025. Last Friday, Lindlar-based stainless steel specialist Schmidt + Clemens (S+C) honored this year's anniversary celebrants at a festive ceremony held at the “Altes Amtshaus” in Lindlar. The event focused on 18 long-serving employees who together can look back on an impressive 590 years of service.
This year, Lars Niemczewski, company spokesman for S+C, welcomed the guests, opened the ceremony and emphasized the significance of the occasion.
The subsequent honors presented by managing partner Jan Schmidt-Krayer and HR manager Sonja Fischer were the highlight of the evening. In his speech, Schmidt-Krayer praised the special contribution made by the anniversary celebrants to the success of the family business: “Today, the entire value chain of our company is represented here – from research and development to shipping. I would like to thank you for your commitment and dedication, but especially for your loyalty to our company. It is you who, with your experience, knowledge, and passion, are laying the foundation for the future of S+C.”
Schmidt-Krayer emphasized that this sense of connection is a hallmark of S+C and pointed out that it is also evident among the youngest colleagues.

The anniversary celebration has been an integral part of S+C's calendar of events for many years and is an expression of the company's unique culture, which is based on cohesion, appreciation, and long-term cooperation. The evening concluded with a dinner and many personal conversations.
