Lindlar/Frankfurt am Main, January 29, 2026. The stainless steel specialist Schmidt + Clemens (S+C), headquartered in Lindlar, Germany, was honored as a “Leading Employer 2026” during the Leading Employers Festival held at the Astor Film Lounge in Frankfurt am Main. With this award, S+C once again proves its strength as a top employer and ranks among the most attractive employers in Germany.
The award is based on a comprehensive meta-analysis conducted by the Institute of Research & Data Aggregation in Hamburg. The institute evaluates a broad range of sources as part of its methodology. The analysis is built on a diverse portfolio including audits, employee reviews, memberships, jury awards, benchmarks and self-disclosures, as well as public surveys. These source types are assigned to one or more thematic evaluation categories. By combining them, the institute creates a multidimensional overall picture that assesses companies holistically, ensures objective comparability, and safeguards the quality of results over the long term.
“As Global Head of HR, Legal + Compliance, I am especially proud of receiving this award again,” said Sonja Fischer, Head of Human Resources of the S+C Group. “It shows that we are on the right track—even in challenging times.”
The Schmidt + Clemens Group employs more than 1,000 people worldwide, including approximately 550 employees at its headquarters in Lindlar.
